Kate Genever

My practice is pro-social. This site represents the work created in relation to Rural contexts; where ideas of dwelling, farming, livelihood and skill are central. I offer an alternative contemporary situated view of the land and its people, celebrating them while challenging romantic views. I ask the veiwer to look and think anew. This work comes from being in close and collaborative relationships with places and the people who work, live and grow there.
