Village Hall success.

Cakes and Art and Archives proved to be a success at Uffington Village Hall on Sat. I made £75 for hall funds from donations for tea and cake. About 45 people visited to look at my work, old photos and other village documents such as the Parish Council and Village Hall Minute books that date back to 1890s. My short talk seemed to go down well and im glad that i had some people come forward to have portraits collaged. I was really pleased to be able to show my work in such a great space alongside the village photo archive. Like the rural touring shows I see here I was glad to bring comtemporary work to a space and wider audience
