Georgina Barney and I last collaborated on The Museum of Contemporary Farming for MERL in 2018. This new work involves an ongoing creative conversation and postal project. Whereby I’ve responded to her gift of 10 oil paints, that use natural procured, distilled and cultivated pigments, by creating a photo based work, before sending a set small oak blocks (sourced from the family farm) and the paints back in return. I wait for her response.
The title A hunter should know how the world is illuminated relates to my part of this work. Georgina will author her part separately.
