A tentative piece of ourselves that we stake at the boundary considers colour, agri-cultures, improvised DIY technologies and the climate emergency. The works are the result of a travel award from St Hughs Foundation which supported the 2294mile journey using only public transport, and site specific response to a two week residency at Studio 459 in Tomar, Portugal.
Works includes pencil and pastel drawings on found or locally produced paper, collages, landscape and installation photographs, a series of improvised painted tables, two flower arrangements made in collaboration with local gardeners and found natural materials.
