Look for the gaps
Pay attention – look and listen hard
Use your sideways brain to make links
Trust your intuition
Use asset based approaches – what can art and culture do to support what’s already good?
Then ask what can art do here that matters/is useful?
Bring your skills set, and know everyone else has one too… use them all
Art can do good but it can also do great harm
Art is often not doing enough – what will you do about it
Abandon authorship but not responsibility
Be humble – it’s not about you!
I am trained to hold not knowing. I hold it for as long as possible
Generosity breeds generosity
Kindness – we all need kindness and care.
Collapse the hierarchy between life and art – they are the same thing.
