The Notice Board is an ongoing collaboration between me, makers and my village community in Lincolnshire. Located in my front garden, it features an A1 size display case and a 6m flag pole. Curated to the theme: The Lands of the Free? Those invited show for one month and their exhibitions are archived @noticeboardunited and here
In December 2025, after 64 exhibitions, The Notice Board reviewed its focus. The Lands of the Free? theme remained but the environment, ecology, climate, biodiversity…were foregrounded. The aim is to help counteract the loss of ecological knowledge that is at the centre of ecological collapse.
The Notice Board is an action orientated response to the enormous challenges of our time. It reclaims a space and offers a structure of support. The Notice Board and its theme are internationalist and aims to create a community of people around shared goals and purpose. While offering audiences a space to reflect on and meet contemporary making and thinking. The Notice Board welcomes in artists, activists, scientists, academics, farmers, bee keepers, ecologists….. to bring knowledge, inspiration and provocation.
