I alter existing postcards as a way to enquire, investigate and explore a place. It is both an act of research and a way to imaginatively inhabit a site or situation. This allows me to trial ideas, make impossible proposals and then distil ideas down.
Becalmed connects to work undertaken at Heacham Norfolk and the house/boats that feature in Eulogy to those who lost their lives at sea. 2019
