Exchange.
2017
Exchange was designed to support a group of art teachers (and by default their students) from across Hull and Yorkshire. Commissioned by Hull City of Culture and The Turner Prize, I was invited to take the 2017 exhibition as a catalyst. In response I developed and facilitated a program that invited the teachers to reconnect to their own making, engage with contemporary work and nurture new approaches. The teachers generated individial and collaborative works that were shared in the galleries as interventions and at a live event where they acted as gallery guides.
This project and my approach were shared as a workshop and via a presentation at the national Engage Conference: 2017
Exchange initated, a still active, peer support arts network.
